I was part of a team involved in the design and delivery of an engagement process. The process was designed to test the emerging Strategic Outline Plan for the development of cancer services in South East Wales that was being developed by Velindre NHS Trust.
The process involved running a series of co-design workshops that used Accelerated Design Event and Experience Based Design methodologies for key stakeholders including patients, carers and staff.
My role involved developing core communications materials to support the process. The central pillar of these communications was the core stakeholder document.
At the end of the process, two thirds of people agreed the strategy was the right one to be following.
