About EveryWord

EveryWord is run by me, Catherine Every. I’m an experienced direct marketer and writer.

I started my career in London, in the marketing department of a small social care publisher.

I then went on to work in marketing departments at Hodder Arnold (another publisher) and Oxford University Press.

In 2004 I moved to Herefordshire. I work part-time as a web copywriter for a web design company and part-time as a freelance writer.

My client base divides broadly into two types.

The first is people in a marketing agency or marketing department. These people are just as capable of writing focussed, audience-appropriate and innovative copy as I am, but pressures on their time means they need to outsource.

The second is small business owners. These people face considerable time pressures too and need to outsource work that isn’t part of their skill set. When they need to write articles for industry journals or write a contract tender, they outsource to me.
